Born in Asti, he studied at the Polytechnic of Turin where he graduated with honours (Honoris Thesis) at the Faculty of Architecture discussing a thesis on the restoration of the Chapel of Sant'Evasio in the Cathedral of Casale Monferrato. At the same time he collaborated on the essay ‘From Loos to Schönberg: architecture and music as compositional issues’. In Venice, in 2012/14 he participated in the ‘Internationale Sommerakademie Venedig’, an advanced training course in architectural composition.
Since 2018, he has been delving into the field of restoration and protection of monuments at the Scuola di Specializzazione dei Beni Architettonici e del Paesaggio of the Politecnico di Milano, in particular approaching the methodologies on the ‘Restaudo del Moderno’ reproposed on the rationalist church of the Borsalino sanatorium, by Ignazio Gardella.
Parallel to architecture, he dedicated himself to the study of the organ and historical keyboards, specialising in early music first at the ‘Verdi’ School of Music in Asti, then at the ‘A. Vivaldi’ Conservatory in Alessandria.
At the same time as his professional activity he participates as a member and essayist in the Associazione Casalese Arte e Storia in which the art and ‘minor’ architecture of Piedmont is promoted; he also cooperates with the ‘Culture Commission’ of the Asti Order of Architects.
Since October 2020 he has been working as a freelancer with Studio Berlucchi srl, where he is an architectural designer and restoration specialist.
