The 1900s theater in the center of Legnano was affected by the functional restoration work carried out by the studio, in order to make the structure a pole of cultural attraction for all citizens. Now the theater is a multifunctional complex suitable for conferences, concerts, movie projections, as well as theatrical performances. The existing spaces have been recovered and improved and the volume dedicated to the dressing rooms has been expanded, while the depth of the stage has been increased. At the same time, a large workable underpass was created, plants were restored and existing structure were consolidated, adapting them to both seismic and fire prevention regulations. As far as decorative equipment is concerned, it has been chosen to keep the conservative approach as far as possible to maintain the original building’s design.
