Study for the realization of a hotel and resort in the Caribbean

Its architecture is inspired by the seashore, and skimming over it, rises up along the natural amphitheatre of the hill: a breathtaking effect, when one thinks of the difficulty of realizing such a structure without encroaching upon the subtle equilibrium, where a fine line is drawn between nature and construction. The complex of buildings takes its likeness from colonial Caribbean architecture, but even more from a classical exemplar which is typical of all the great residences of the Antilles, testimony of a fascinating past, in which nature and architecture were interwoven in an ambivalent play of landscapes and viewpoints. In effect the fascination of Caribbean architecture is evoked mainly by its spectacular backdrop, not only as a place of pure and absolute beauty, but also if you think that this blend of different styles has been created and introduced in this environment.
