Auditorium ex chiesa dei Disciplini a Calcinato

The intervention here referred to the restoration and conservation of the ancient church of the Disciplini, already converted into Bertini cinema and now destined for auditorium and conference room. The first phase involved the examination of the decorative apparatus, which led to the identification of a widespread heterogeneity of the plasterwork and various frescoes dating from the mid-fifteenth to the eighteenth century, overlapping results in some parts of the church. The aim of the architectural intervention was to minimize any kind of demolition or alteration of both the murals and the surface decorations, which were indeed restored to the very benefit of the auditorium itself, which maintained the pre-existing volumes.
